Crafted on Straddie: inspired by the island’s shipwrecks and perfected to ensure every sip is a treasure worth discovering. Introducing the second release in our IPA Shipwreck Series.
Paying homage to the enduring mystery of the Spanish Galleon, rumored to be buried beneath the Eighteen Mile Swamp on North Stradbroke Island. Beneath the peat of the swamp, according to folklore, lies the shipwreck of a European oak vessel—perhaps a 16th-century Portuguese or Spanish caravel, or even a Mexican treasure galleon laden with gold coins.
Historic artifacts, written accounts, and local tales hint at its existence, yet no conclusive evidence has ever been found. Adding to the intrigue, locals claim that lightning strikes are unusually frequent near the supposed site of the wreck, drawn by the precious metals hidden below.
In pursuit of hoppiness…bold flavours, rich history.
Shipwreck Series: GALLEON COLD IPA
Aromas of sweet peach, guava, pineapple, mango and orange rind. Soft candied malt flavours balance a firm but well-rounded bitterness.

- Lager Yeast at Warm Temps: A refreshing nod to Steam Beer traditions.
- New World Hops: Riwaka and Nectaron hops from New Zealand with Idaho 7 hops from the USA deliver moderate bitterness and a burst of tropical fruit flavors.
