Meet the SBC team 25th July, 2pm at the Stradbroke Beach Hotel (The Straddie Pub)
Indie Beer Day was launched in October 2019 by the Independent Brewers Association (IBA) as a celebration of Australia’s independent craft brewers.
And this year, the celebrations are set for Saturday 25th July, nationwide. A great excuse for a beer – as if we needed one.
We are super proud of how much our small team (of 3) has achieved so far; launching Straddie Brewing Co in the middle of a global pandemic, and even more proud that we can toast Indie Beer Day with our very own independent beer – Point Lookout Lager. Batch #001 – the first ever Straddie beer.
It hasn’t been smooth sailing to get to this point but we are a determined bunch and our goal – to build the first Island Craft Brewery in Australia – keeps us focused. And now for that beer. The SBC team will be at the Stradbroke Beach Hotel (aka The Straddie Pub) to raise a glass of Straddie Beer to independent craft breweries and their delicious brews on Saturday 25th July, from 2pm til 3pm.
