Are you passionate about hospitality, events, and creating unforgettable guest experiences? We’re seeking a Duty Manager and Events Coordinator to join our team on beautiful North Stradbroke Island.
Our three-storey brewery, bar and restaurant is situated in the heart of Dunwich, the gateway to Straddie. With twelve beers on tap across two bars, a fully equipped kitchen serving the freshest local cuisine, and a rooftop bar offering spectacular sunset views over Moreton Bay, we’re proud to be one of Queensland’s most iconic island venues.
This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on venue management with the coordination of exciting events and functions in paradise.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Leading day-to-day venue operations in our bustling taproom and restaurant
• Coordinating and delivering private functions, weddings, corporate events, and community activations
• Building strong relationships across our FOH, BOH, Marketing, Brewery, and Sales teams
• Acting as the go-to for guests and clients, ensuring every experience is seamless and memorable
• Overseeing event bookings, run sheets, and liaising with suppliers and partners
• Mentoring and supporting our team to deliver service excellence in a fast-paced environment,
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar hospitality or events role
• Proven ability to manage both operational shifts and event execution
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A guest-first mindset with a passion for creating great experiences
• Confidence working in a dynamic and busy venue.
