Prosperity Cali IPA

Our Prosperity Cali IPA pays tribute to the brigantine Prosperity, that met her fate on the rocks off Point Lookout, North Stradbroke Island.

Bound for Far North Queensland in 1902, the brigantine met its fate on the treacherous rocks, spilling its cargo of sugar mill machinery into the depths. Though the captain and crew found refuge with local stockman Billy North, the sea claimed the cook and the mate.

54 years later, shifting sands unveiled a skeleton and a weathered leather boot—silent remnants of the tragedy—on what is now known as Deadman’s Beach.

Pilsner malt and a bone-dry finish set the stage for a bright and super crushable IPA style that delivers plenty of ‘pretty’ modern new world hop character without the pine, resin and fuller malt character often associated with a classic West Coast IPA.

Aromas of candied oranges, fresh lime, pink lemonade and musk sticks. Juicy mango, white peach and guava flavours balance light, sweet malt and just enough bitterness.
