Centaur Douple IPA

Crafted on Straddie: inspired by the island’s shipwrecks and perfected to ensure every sip is a treasure worth discovering. Introducing the fifth release in our IPA Shipwreck Series.

Paying tribute to the Australian Hospital Ship Centaur, that was torpedoed by enemy submarine off Point Lookout, North Stradbroke Island in 1943.

Pineapple, guava, sweet melon and passionfruit hop characters burst out of the glass. A cooler ferment aimed at retaining hop aromatics and boosting free thiol production result in a super juicy, fruity, beguiling and easy drinking triple-hopped, double IPA.

Malt – Voyager Atlas
Hops – Ryefield Hops (Bemboka NSW) Chinook & Beedelup, Nelson Sauvin (NZ)
Yeast – Bavarian Lager
